Renewal Open April 2017, the new outdoor hot spring that connected to our public bath with barrier free.
The onsen is knowed as Takeda Shingen`s hidden hot spring, also popular as beauty hot spring that can make skin more silky. You may enjoy it together with nature and acompany with music of river nearby.
Available Time: 12:00am〜10:00am (the next morning)
- Except disinfection time (1:00am〜4:00am).
- Available from 2:00pm on maintenance day.

Fully Renovated in February 2023Private Outdoor hot spring
Fully Renovated in February 2023. Surrounded by green forest and sound of river nearby, our private outdoor give a luxury space to enjoy time with family or for couples, also as a private space for you to have your own time freely without any worries.
We renovated the private outdoor hot spring to universal design by removing steps and installing a handrail on the bathtub in February 2023. Now you can easily use the new private outdoor hot spring.
All hotel guests may use it freely for 30 minutes.
Available Time: 30 mins during 1:40pm〜11:30pm
- Guests staying consecutive nights can use 30 mins of private outdoor hot spring every night.
- Basically, we will accept the reservation for private outdoor hot spring in order of guest’s arrival. Thank you for your understanding.
Ichi no yu Seasonal

Outdoor hot spring for ladies Tenyo no yu
Placed in foot of Tateshina mountain, the hot spring was used by Takeda Shingen to heal the wound from war and it still believe for more than 1000years.
Starting from April 2018, outdoorspring to for gentlement was close and renewal it to ladies, hope they can relax for routine activities supporting their family. With more space than last time, enjoying together with nature that changing form sakura, green leaves, red autumn and white snow.
Available Time: 11:00am〜8:45pm, 6:00am~9:00am (the next morning)

Tatami Mats for Public Baths
Shinyu Onsen group was the first company to adopt original tatami mats in 2001 in Japan. Tatami mats for using in public baths are customized made with unique materials and passed the hygiene safety test; thus, for kids and elders or anyone else who can use it in safely.

Women OnlyPlanetarium Bedrock Bath
Tateshina Stargazer
A women-only bedrock bath that opened in April 2023. The bathroom is fully equipped with a planetarium, and the night sky projected overhead reproduces the actual starry sky of Tateshina. You can gradually warm your body while looking at the stars in the sky.
The interior with tiles on the walls and floor expresses a hammam (traditional Middle Eastern public bath) that makes you feel like you've traveled to the Middle Ages. In the cool-down space in front of the bathroom, we have recreated a patio where you can relax while enjoying the scenery of the four seasons.
Bedrock bathing while gazing at the planetarium's starry sky. It is the ultimate relaxation space that has not only beauty effects from sweating, but also physical fatigue recovery such as coldness, stiff shoulders, and swelling, as well as stress reduction and relaxation effects.
Available Time: 12:00〜21:30
- Please refrain from using it for a long time. (Estimated usage time: about 20 minutes)
- Please refrain from using after drinking.
- The bedrock bath is attached to the women's public bath, so it is exclusively for women.
- Please refrain from using the bedrock bath if you are under junior high school age.
Hygiene Management of the Public Bath
In order for our guests to use the hot springs safely, we manage the hygiene of the public bath by following the methods and cleaning frequency set by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and the Public Health Center.

For guests with children
Only children up to the age of 7 are permitted to enter the opposite sex public onsen bath.
About Wearing Bathing Suit
We are cooperating with the Pink Ribbon Campaign. Our guests who need to wear a bathing suit for a reason can wear it while taking our onsen. A bathing suit is used by people who have surgical scar of breast cancer or skin graft surgery to cover the scar during taking an onsen. The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare clearly states that using a bathing suit has no sanitation problem. We appreciate your understanding. We also offer a bathing suit for lending, so please feel free to tell us.
