Open-air hot spring connected to public bath
This open-air hot spring was completed in April 2017, and provides a view overlooking the Takinoyu River, a first-class river, below. It is directly connected to the public bath, and unlike other open-air baths, it has few steps, allowing anyone to bathe with peace of mind.
Shinyu Onsen, with its own source, is also known as Takeda Shingen’s hidden hot spring. The mildly acidic, silky spring water is highly praised for its beautifying effects, and you can enjoy how smooth it makes your skin feel. The resounding music of the mountain stream and the huge trees in front of you crowding in toward you create a dynamic feeling. Enjoy bathing while admiring the beauty of nature with your eyes, ears, and skin.

Tatami-floored hot spring
Nowadays, many places floor their hot springs with tatami mats, but we adopted them ahead of the entire country in 2001. We developed the idea through a process of trial and error, out of our desire to enable children and elderly guests who have trouble walking to enjoy bathing. We also had special anti-bacterial and anti-mold materials developed to match the ingredients of our hot spring water. The floors are soft and safe, and guests enjoy them a great deal.
Available hours
- 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
